I walked up to you at Dismores and started talking to you about OCing probably in October.
Awesome, that's who I thought you were. Glad to see you on the board. Are you and your friend that I met coming to the lunch on Sunday?

I OC at Arby's quite often. I've never been asked by customers or employees about my firearm there, although I'm often asked about my carry-gun at Dissmore's.

I think I have only made it in and out of Dissmore's twice while OC'ing and not had the firearm come up in conversation, and I shop there very often. The employees at Dissmore's are quite curious. One of them mistook my HK USP for a Springfield XD and then chatted with me about the differences between the two. :)

I generally use a hybrid of two fairly popular ones already mentioned.

"Because carrying a full sized police officer is too heavy, and when seconds count, they are minutes away."

If I get the chance after the persons initial reaction, I will add...

"Every free citizen has the right and responsibility to protect themselves and their loved ones. The firearm is the most effective means to that end when all other things fail, think about that."

I like to make em think! ;)

Because I realized criminals are predators and will go for the easiest prey, as long as I'm standing next to you with a gun I'm not the easiest prey to a criminal, enjoy the rest of your day.
