If you are still having a tough time finding people, let me know and I will make arrangements to stay a couple/few extra hours. For all the members that we have around here, there should be more people that will pop up to help a little later. I hope!

Is open carry legal in county parks? I know about state and federal and local, but I never thought about county parks.

Grey area - it *should* be legal under the state law, although some county sheriffs choose to interpret closing parks to OC as "not more restrictive than state law" because of the law against carrying in state parks.

Sheriff in Portage County did exactly that last summer for our picnic. Moved to a city park and the problem was solved. If you have a OC friendly sheriff in your county it might be different.

The gun show was slow for much of the time, but WCI has an additional seven members signed up and more will be sporting T-shirts, hats and Guns Save Lives pins.

Many thanks to Calicojack for helping on Saturday morning, and Trey and Justin (pictured) for helping out on both Saturday and Sunday. There are now many more well-informed citizens. I also spent some time talking with the 86th District Assemblyman about Constitutional Carry, personally handing him the Legislative Initiative flyer, the WCI Trifold pamphlet and the OCDO proposed bill.
