We have a tough fight ahead of us. In 2014, Bloomberg pushed through a ballot measure in Washington that classified handing a gun to someone else as a crime unless all your information was first turned over to a federally licensed dealer. A few weeks ago, the Oregon legislature passed a similar bill that their Governor quickly signed. In Nevada, Bloomberg was successful in qualifying a basically identical gun owner registration scheme for the 2016 ballot. Here in Arizona, Bloomberg’s Everytown For Gun Safety was influential in defeating AzCDL-requested legislation during the 2015 session that would have thwarted their plans. They will be back with a vengeance in 2016, this time on the offensive with a ballot measure targeting your rights. Your vote in this contest will help us fight the coming battles.
Thanks!
Fred
