Isn't it strange that, here in England, as fewer and fewer guns are held legally...more and more of our policemen are going about armed?
In fact, aside from shotguns, there are almost no firearms in private hands. I don't know a single gun-owner and I can't recall the last time that I saw a gun which wasn't in the hands of either the authorities or of a criminal.
Perhaps the criminal class is our best hope of Liberty. For it refuses to be dis-armed. It refuses to be constrained by Government' dictat. It embraces the fact that power does, indeed, emanate from the barrel of a gun.
Perhaps the criminals are the only true Libertarians, whereas the rest of us deserve only subjugation to the State.
