To be honest, I do not believe the 2nd Amendment made any reference to a vehicle(aka tank). It was designed so that way, any male of appropriate age, who holds the ability to work in a group/unit, can become a foot soldier. What do our COMMON soldiers carry in general.

1. A Rifle
2. A Handgun(sidearm)
3. A knife
4. Grenades(??, idk about this one within standard infantry)

So, if a standard group of soldiers was expected to have this set of items, then the standard American, capable of acting in concert with others AND being of appropriate age, should by law be capable of owning the above.

This is one of those, minimal requirement lists, many other items should also be available to the public as they see fit within thier day to day lives and not regulated by some government agency.

It is important to understand that TO BEAR within the context of Amendment 2 does in fact serve to address the action of BRINGING ARMS TO BEAR.

The right to KEEP something simply equates to the right to hold that something in storage - in RESERVE if you will.

TO BEAR that something equates to something far more purposeful, and deliberate than simply retrieving that something from storage for no purpose other than mobile storage while in transit to a destination - be it the marketplace, or Yorktown.

This is why I will insist that ( the right of the people ) TO BEAR arms within the context of the 2nd Amendment refers to the ACT of actually BEARING ARMS in the sense of BRINGING THOSE ARMS TO BEAR AGAINST some objective - NOT simply mobile storage.

Whether it be TO BEAR a message, an object, gifts, a physical load, or the pressure BEARING metal "bearings" in a machine - there is always some action of subject in relation to object present.

Sidebar is concluded. Now back to the subject matter of WHAT ARMS to BRING TO BEAR.

You have to ask : what is the purpose of the 2nd amendment before exploring what it is
