Just when you think a LEO can't stick their head any further up their ass than before, this moron proves me wrong. Weapon was hunting rifle slung over shoulder. This 18 years of active duty Army soldier was hiking with son in order for son to get hiking merit badge for Eagle Scout. Carrying rifle because of feral hogs/cougars in area. Grabs gun from soldier, says he is allowed to carry a weapon but soldier is not and then LEO says the rules don't pertain to him.
