Thursday Sept 20th: Went to the South Hill Wal Mart in Puyallup to get some .308. They were out of the .308 that I wanted. I then asked the Associate if she could see what other stores had any in stock. After a few minutes, she said that the Auburn Wal Mart had lots in stock. I said my thanks and headed to Auburn. Went into the Auburn Wal Mart, had to use the restroom and then headed to the Sporting Goods Department. Verified they had what I wanted in stock and asked the Assoiciate for three boxes of .308. As I was walking out, another guy approached me and asked if anyone gave me any crap for OC'ing, I said not really, every once in a while a civilian may say somehting, but that is usually cause they do not understand that Washington is a Open Carry State. He said he CC's and pointed to his fanny pack. Since I already seen the fanny pack, I pretty much figured that he had a pistol in it. Anyways, after that it was back home.
Saturday Sept 22: Took my 8 year old to Alder Lake to go fish. OC'ed as always. I wore one of my hats that said (Harbor Defense Patrol). When we go to the docks, a few Russians (not trying to be racist) were lined up shoulder to shoulder. A couple of females kinda glared at me as I walked down but nothing was said. My son managed to squeeze his way in between a couple of them and fished while I stood back and fished where nobody was. I mainly kept an eye on my son while he fished. At one point my son had a fish on and it got tangled in some other guys line, they were trying to carefully get it free, I just walked over, cut the line grabbed the fish and put it on the stringer. One guy said he told my son to be careful, I just looked at him and said "crap happens when people fish close". He didn't say much nor would I expect him too. We were pretty much done for the day, so we packed up and went home.
Sunday Sept 23: Went to Bonney Lake Wal Mart and bought a spotting scope then went up past FS 70. Friend of mine just bought a New Remington 700 7mm for hunting, so we took it up and zeroed it at 25 yards and then 100. I OC'ed the entire time. I also took my Ruger American Rifle .308 and zeroed it at 100yds. My girl took out the spotting scope and noticed it was broken. (good thing my friend bought one that was not broken) Once we left from the top of the hill, we went back to Wal Mart and exchanged the spotting scope with no issues. Gotta love Wal Mart.
