Well for only $300 bucks I guess ya can't knock it but you got the most boring Geo they ever made. :p

I know, but the Prizm's are much better than those POS Geo Metro's! My Cousin had one, and it was broken at 60,000 Miles.

My Geo Prizm has 204,000 Miles and counting...

(I knew a guy that had a Prizm and he got it up to 350,000 before it broke!)

The Geo may be boring, but I have a Classic 1968 Porsche 911 to make up for that! ;)

That's cuz they're designed by Toyota, not GM. If it's gotta be Geo you shoulda gone with a Tracker. Neither the Prizm nor Porsche will do you any good next time it snows :p

I went on monday to friends and family day, what a zoo! lines to check out where hours long and wall to wall people.
Showed up on opening day thursday at around 10:30 to find lines around the street.

Carried concealed with a tight chicken wing on that crazy adventure.

Not much, but I did oc at the Arlington Walmart and Panda Express. I purchased some ammo just to prove to my dad that Walmart(his employer) wouldn't kick me out. He's not fond of firearms.

I buy ammo from that same walmart on a regular basis while OC. The old guy that usually works there is pretty cool. The Panda express is pretty good too.

So..... anyone OC to the grand opening of the new Cabelas in Tulalip? My wife heard from a friend who went that the line to get in was around the block...

Like I told an old Army NCO, the only thing I ever intend to stand in line for when I get out is to "whiz" on his grave.

Since they weren't burying him at Cabela's I didn't go;);)

I started the day out with a meet at The Smokey Point Starbucks. After that, my family and I ran over to the new Cabelas. Talk about stuffy, it was wall to wall people. I was a little nervous about being on the rez, but had no issues.

Tempting indeed.

I bet a dye bomb camouflaged as a flip phone wouldn't be illegal. Just don't forget and open it yourself!

That or some truly AWFUL perfume. Maybe both. As long as it was pressure operated (rather than explosive), not toxic or disabling and didn't kill the guy, I am fairly sure it WOULD be legal.

Woodland Park Zoo

Spent the day with the family at Woodland Park Zoo, 5 hours. No problems OC 100% of the time. My wife mentioned how as someone was leaving an exibit I was in that a guy turned to his wife or girlfriend and mentioned 'see babe, I'm not the only one that open carries'.

Overall, a very tiring day but very fun.

OCed at my usual spots. Hit the Cavalero dog park and stayed for a while...had the place to myself after the couple people that were there took off. Could have been the fair weather dog owners (who only get their dog some exercise from April-September) and aren't used to an OCer. Who knows...only reason I thought of that is that it happened a few times when I used to live up in Bellingham...until people got used to seeing my face.

Anyways, the funny instance today was when I stopped by the farmer's produce stand in Lochsloy. The owner (I'm pretty sure), comes up to me as I'm checking out and asks why I carry a gun on me. I tell her the usual, "Oh mainly for protection, but I also like to give gun owners a good name and to stop being ashamed of it. yada yada..." We talk for a bit, she says she carries some but that she couldn't do it there because people would freak. I told her I'm pretty sure most people don't even notice, and the cashier next to her confirmed it, saying he didn't notice my gun until she said something. And then she goes, "Oh but I've been around guns all my life yada yada yada, so I notice guns." I just nodded and laughed and told them to have a good day...figured I wouldn't ruin it for her and tell her I've been in there at least a dozen times before when she's been there and we've said hello.

Another good day

Another ride into Monroe on my Mountain bike. 1 open carry zero problems. Shopped at Pacific Power and Batteries, The Sewing and Vacuum store behind Ben Franklin, Chain Buffet, and Grizzly Sports. Positive experiences all around.

Zero police to be seen even. Except for the fact I am working on getting back in shape and so still getting sore it was a good day.

Went to Starbucks for a grande hot chocolate.

Then off to Subway for dinner. Got me a foot long Pastrami melt.

After Subway I stopped by 7 11. Got me some snacks and some scratch lottery tickets. I didn't win anything. :(

No strange looks or questions.

Went to Starbucks and got some kind of frappucino. No issues.

Went to 7 11 and got some scratchers. I won 2 dollars.

Went to the Tulalip casino. Started with 20 dollars at Spanish 21. I got up to about 45 dollars and then lost it all.

Went to Cabelas. Spent a couple hours in there. I'm like a kid in a candy store in there. I looked at some 1911's, shotguns, and AR's. I ended up buying some .40 S&W snap caps, double pistol mag pouch, single mag pouch, and some ammo storage boxes.

Went and saw The Avengers. Good movie.

So that was My OC/CC day. No issues or comments at all today.
