Had a kid tell me he can take my gun when i was at the park having lunch with my girlfriend. I just looked at him and said you will have a very bad day if you try kid. I don't understand kids nowadays...
Obviously he is the product of too much TV, movies, and video games. Totally ignorant remark - in real life there are consequences for foolish actions.

Me and my girlfriend just shook our heads in amazement and then looked at his mom and just shook our heads in disappointment.

I don't think it's universal. Husband got pulled over in Goochland about 2 years ago in his truck, with the orange GSL sticker on the back window. Officer didn't say anything about his firearm. Just gave him his ticket and moved on.

When I got pulled over a few months ago, I notified the officer only because my license was in my purse with my gun. He said okay, go ahead and get it and that was the end of it. SN: Had a good interaction with him, told him I had a lead foot, he laughed. When we went to court, because I had a CDL I couldn't get driving school, when the judge asked about the traffic stop, the officer told him I said I had a lead foot. The judge laughed, said, "You know what my wife calls that?" No sir... "Improper Equipment." So he dropped the speeding ticket, turned it into improper equipment which wouldn't go against my CDL. Two tickets with a CDL and you lose your license. I dropped it when I renewed in June.
