Thank you for providing another illustration.

I have made the point. Moving on.

Thank you for proving the point of everybody here who detests you, regardless their faith structure.

You know eye, I tried to be nice to you on here for years, pointing out in the very beginning your infantile manner of stating "moving on" in an attempt to progress the commentary as if it was in your ownership to begin with.

Oh look, an exceedingly polite instance of me doing so a long time ago:

Eye95,

I am trying to be polite, and not confrontational at all, hence the private message.

Every time you use the phrase "moving on", you seem to be attempting to brush away any individuals contention with one of your points.

This makes it look very much like you are incapable of substantiating the validity of your comments, and appears to be attempting to evade any conversation about the particular statement/subject.

Just a friendly observation. No malice intended.

Jason

Nice to see your rigidity and disrespect for everybody else hasn't changed. You will remain an excellent Christian until the end of your days, no doubt. When something doesn't fit within your narrow, rigidly defined sense of reality, you will try to dissolve it or avoid it by "moving on".

Move on now eye, move on.

Wow, last time I checked, the subject of this thread was Piers Morgan.

He's a pompous, irrational **** incapable of any sort of in-depth conversation.

No doubt he sees himself as the "sensible Brit" trying to bring the exceptionally high occurrence of stabbings, as well as the overall violent crime rate perpetuated by the British government in his own native country, to our beautiful land.

It's his gift of ignorance to us.

How do you really feel 5-0?

It's like the line from Galaxy Quest..."Alexander Dane, he's British!" As though we still revere the funny accent as denoting intellect and higher morals. Now, that is funny.

Which "God"?

Odin? Thor? Vishnu? Krishna? Marduk? Mithras?

I just want to make sure that I am addressing the right mythological belief structure before discussing its poisonous effect on society. SNIP

Super Slow to the rescue!!!

While you're discussing the poisonous effects of a mythological belief structure, make sure you adequately cover atheism... the poison itself.

Since this thread is about Piers Morgan, I propose that slowfiveoh is absolutely on topic when he speaks of poison. ;D

I leave your inadequate ramblings and veiled pejoratives to be seen for what they are.

As to atheism, I absolutely challenge you to show me a single instance of atheism being a detriment to society.

Oh wait, you're the special case who thinks lack of belief, based on lack of evidence, equals belief. Hard to have a rational conversation with someone firmly entrenched in irrationality.

You have nothing intellectual or meaningful to add to any debate on the topic. This has been demonstrated thoroughly, and rigorously on more than one occasion.

Here, have some lulz:

One of the very few comments on which I can concur, to ever eke forth out of your mouth (fingers?).

The guy clearly has a singular, simple, distrust and misunderstanding as well as fervent naivety in general regarding the topic.

Listening to the guy on his idiotic show babble on would probably be akin electing Gumby chief scientist at NASA.

We'd get to the moon before Piers ever made a salient point.

It is disappointing to see insults and infighting, rather than sticking to the facts and at the least responding to the premise established in the OP.

Hardly see this as "Hot Topic" so will be moving the thread to General Discussion.

IMO - rather than offer a petition which will mean little to Piers Morgan - he makes his living by being contentious, insulting shock jock - send letters to his sponsors and tell them you won't buy their product/service as long as the support him.

The discussion of religion amounts to a thread hi-jack, it is totally off topic for this thread.

TRUE, the white house couldn't care less. But the more people that sign it the more media publicity it will get. Perhaps that will be in the back of the medias mind when they are on the verge of bashing our gun rights live on TV.

Piers made his noise, we need to make ours. We need to show the media we don't appreciate them crapping on our guns and rights.

In an attempt to get this thread back on the topic of a petition to expel a specific person from this country. It don't matter how many sign such petition as it would be a violation of our constitution to enforce it. The petition is not a valid form of "due process" which is guaranteed by our federal constitution. The rights guaranteed us in this great document and the principles espoused therein apply to EVERYONE in this country or they apply to none. I would rather they apply to all.

Now, do I like or appreciate the manner in which this Brit does his show?--nope, but that ain't a reason to deport him! The only valid reasons to deport him would be in his violation and subsequent conviction in an appropriate court of certain statutes and then he might be subject to deportation based upon that assuming he has not become a naturalized citizen and then deportation ONLY upon a revocation of his US Citizenship for a violation of the law in the manner in which he obtained such citizenship.

That's what I've been saying all along! No, he isn't a citizen, but he is here legally and saying things we don't like is not against the law and is certainly not grounds for deportation. He is indeed an enemy of the Second Amendment and he's not going anywhere, so deal with it!

If he is here on a work authorization, if we get him fired, he is obliged to go home. So the best course may be to stop watching and discourage others from doing so. Television personalities are routinely let go for a variety of reasons, including lack of viewers, foot in mouth disease, and having sex with the wrong person or people.
