that thread has to be a joke. I dont think anyone could be a that idiotic and hold any sort of possition of authority.

Ive met people that were stupid(not nearly as stupid as that guy)andstilldidn't get anywhere close to being hired on with my company; and sadly,my company hires less than reputable people sometimes.

That just has to be a joke.

Here is how the mall ninja came to be. It's a long read but it's worth it!

wow! that guy was a joke! no way in hell would a security guard be allowed to carry sub machine guns.
Only got about halfway through the page before I started throwing up a little in my mouth. Then I pushed on and read further and started laughing uncontrollably. "HUMGEE"? That's comedy, right there. By about the fourth or fifth post, how could anyone not know their bluff had been called? I'm sure "Gecko45" and "SECOPS" were one in the same person. I used to work for an armored truck company and heard of a guy who carried a tommy-gun on the job. Never believed it until I saw it for myself. Turns out he didn't actually carry it, he just kept it in the truck. Stupid, though. I don't care what's going down, you start rock 'n rolling with that thing and you have about as much chance of staying out of court as Rosie O'Donnell does of becoming a SI swimsuit model.

ya armored truck guards are the only thing that comes close. Im pretty sure a few of the armored car companies around my city carry AR-15's in the truck but im possitive the use of them would be very scrutinized by their bosses.

I have created this:

Actual wording of the 2nd Amendment, and the year of ratification along with the Great Seal of the United States. Absolutely NO ONE who reads this can screw it up.

Wearing it with a CCW is not the brightest thing to do, but I have another design in mind for that.

I think this guy lives in a version of the game 'The Sims' that is unheard of...

If I knew of the 'mall ninja' trend, I would' ve never used 'ninja' in my name on this forum and calguns. Even though I am a real ninja,I am ashamed of these other 'ninjas' smearing our good name. We are a serious community of ninjas. Please do not mistake 'ninjas' with 'mall ninjas'.

Seriously though, I ride a Ninja ZX10R that's why :p

Hello All,

I am joining the plurality on this thread who are opining that some LEOs (could be many) would acuse a "badge-bearing" OCer as impersonating an officer. The arrested OCer would PROBABLY prevail in court, but, who knows.

I think the closest thing to a badge an OCer should bear is from Yelohmr:

I know many on this site would be opposed to using an ID attached your polo shirt pocket, or hanging from your neck, as this is not a "stop and ID state."

I have a TSA, federally issued ID card that requires an FBI background check. This ID card is fortransportation workers and not TSA agents.

What do you all think if I clipped it to my polo pocket or attached it to my gun belt?

I don't think any LEO would "assume" that I was trying to impersonate a LEO by openly displayingan ID card; however, the public would think that I have borne a weapon as a part of some official privateduty. If a liberal assumed that, they would be correct because: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." The bearing of a firearm is political speech--and it is my American duty to be involved with our political process.

MarkBofR, I tend to agree with you as far as perhaps a laminate situation goes, especially with your logic about the liberals and how they would be figuratively correct in their thinking. I have chosen a different route, but a laminate (although) this is not a stop and ID state) is not a bad idea. I think it further separates us from the bad guys, even though a great amount of people would not stop and read the information on it.
