Please; this discussion is far more about us and our mental preparation than it is about her.

True BUT,..... it is good food for thought for those that have not had any education or training for dealing with an encounter such as this.

The "clear and present danger" doctrine should be completely understood b y anyone who may even remotely encounter something like this.

That being said, not even the courts completely understand it.

Since you put the BUT in there, I must not have expressed myself very well. I think I'm saying the exact same thing as you--what I meant by "about us, not about her" was that everyone here (I very strongly suspect) has the underlying agenda of "what should someone do in this type of situation" rather than "I really really need to straighten this woman out."
