Note that those are several months old, and it's dead until the state legislature re-convenes. IFC, NRA, and ASA all were working hard on it. Even IGO got in a little, when when weren't busy bad-mouthing everyone else and asking for money.
There 1 one thing preventing the bill from passing -- only ONE thing. It's name is
Rob Hogg, and it chairs the Senate judiciary committee, and it hates freedom and firearms. It is appointed by the Democrat Senate Majority Leader
Gronstol, supported by a whole bunch of other Democrats in the Senate, and they hide behind him so that they won't have to vote on the issue because Hogg won't let it be voted on. There is so much stupid hi-jinx going on there is is nauseating.
There are 2 ways Hogg's 100% road-block power can be bypassed:
1)
remove Hogg from office (
but he may be replaced by another equally bad Democrat)
2)
remove the Democrat majority in the senate, so that Gronstol will not be the majority leader, so that a non-Democrat will be appointed to the Judiciary chair.

It gets good (bad) around page 22 or so when the bill bounces back and forth
literally ALL NIGHT with Hogg's committee continually refusing to pass the silencer language.
