Open Carry House Warming Party

So I was pondering tonight I am about done with the construction and upgrades to the house I just bought and was thinking about having my house warming an OPEN CARRY event. I wonder how that would go over with the close friends and family if my Open Carry family was there too? What do you think? I assure you I don't think anyone would get out of control! LOL

Excellent Idea. Does your family know you are pro gun? To me it doen't matter my family accepts me for who I am or they don't.

Yes my family knows I carry. Anyone that I know from Open Carry has my permission LOC anytime at my house. There is a trust and bond there that we all share. I wouldn't ask you to un-arm yourself. MY HOUSE IS PRO GUN! Will probably be the safest on the block. I already talked to my neighbor on the right of me. Explained he will see me carrying all the time and not to be alarmed. He informed me he was glad and he was also heavily armed!

It's your house and it's within your right to permit your "tennants" to LOC.

I guess if your family doesn't like it... tough! Your house, your rules right?

I think it's a great idea, go for it. Due to the vast number or laws, rules, and regulations we need to be aware of, I think this group of individuals is highly self regulated and intelligent.
