rotten

I think turkeys would be fun to shoot, but if you have ever been around rotten poultry then you know that an abundance of it would shut down the range for at least a.week. or at least make it nut much fun to be there.

There is an upper pit, that is more drive in accessible. The problem is, in the Winter Months those roads are pretty treacherous (4'+ of snow, 12' wide road, no shoulder, 100' shear drop off).

Hmmm, don't remember a big stump. The one I'm referring to is a rectangle, about 150 yds by 50 yds. Graded flat. Couple big piles of gravel near the entrance, nice high wall on the far end and both sides. I'll have to go on a scouting mission to find it again.

Maybe we can use the regular "pit" as a meeting place and convoy from there? Also weather depending during the winter months. Say what you want about me, but since none of my guns are SS I won't shoot in the rain.

That sounds like the upper pit. A great location, but hell to get to in the winter.
