I agree, I'm just wondering if everyone is seeing what you posted, or what I posted.

i swear you guys miss all the fun! had a fellow oc-er visit yesterday, him and i got to speak with customers, hand out a few flyers, answer questions. one customer stated; i didn't know you could carry legally, the ones i know carry concealed, and illegal.

another interesting interaction; a customer rolls up in his 'hoop-dee', asking about service, the local/charming type. sees my firearm and asks: that a 9? i said; no a .40 cal. he remarks; you gonna knock em down, knock em down. i cautioned; this is for self defense only!
every day brings a new experience!

The wife and I went out to run some errands today, and for the first time I carried open while shopping. I have my CCW permit for other states, so this isn't my first time in a "public" place while armed, but I must say it was different.

No incidents to report, one guy did a double take at Pick'n Save as I was ordering some chicken at the deli, but aside from that everything went smoothly. My wife was a little uneasy about it, but I think after the 3rd store or so she was getting better with it.

I carried in Farm & Fleet in Sturtevant, Pick'n Save on Rapids, Panara Bread on Hwy 20, and Walmart on Hwy 11.

Carry on.. =)
Nice work, I only recently started open carrying in Tomah. I will tell you what is really cool. When the police talk to you while you open carry. And when its all said and done you continue with your day like normal. All the people that see you talking to the police expect to see you on the ground with some over zealous officers knee on the back of your neck. As they watch you end a professional conversation with a smile and a handshake , they wonder.
