The information is public and can be viewed by anyone. There is nothing to hide, as Venator said I will answer any questions about the organization. Jerry posted the email address where any inquiries can be sent. I have no problem with anyone knowing how this organization is set up, as long as it's an actual question and it is sent through our site.
FYI, I Pm'd the new person on the forum early this morning that asked the questions.
To Get2dahchopper,
1. CLSD is registered with the state of Michigan as a corporation. It operates as an assumed name under johnroshek.com, Inc. which is primarily a blog site that promotes conservative values. Funds are reinvested into the company to help its growth, everyday operations and used for supplies to support the RKBA.
2. There is no official voting system within CLSD, Inc. we accept members and value all of our members input and suggestions but with many other organizations there is no official voting system. The board is appointed and there are no elections.
3. The first meeting was held at Toms Coney Island in Flint before the SAS talk show. At the time Jerry and I were the only ones involved, future meeting locations will be decided upon at a later date.
4. As for our goals in the immediate future, we have several projects in the works such as releasing the Open Carry book and several upcoming seminars. Our main goal is to support and educate citizens on the right to bear arms and to work with state legislators on restoring 2A rights back to their original intent as laid out in the Constitution.
There are many great organizations in the state of Michigan that support 2A rights, I highly encourage you to spend time researching and meeting various people to find the best fit for your principles and ideals. The great thing about our country is the freedom of choice and the free market system. You have the ability to join all organizations, or if you prefer none at all. It's what separates true American values from Communists who think all business should fit only one mold and there should be no freedom of choice. Gotta love the free market!! Thanks for the inquiry. Some other organizations you may want to look at would be MOC, MGO, MCRGO, GOA.
