I feel this is a bash. You're painting all bureaucrats in a negative light. You can't possibly prove that all bureaucrats try to get away with anything they feel like doing. Bureaucrats have feelings, remember they are people too.

We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.

I feel this is a bash. You're painting all bureaucrats in a negative light. You can't possibly prove that all bureaucrats try to get away with anything they feel like doing. Bureaucrats have feelings, remember they are people too.
There are statements in his posting to which I do not completely subscribe, but see no bashing - a violation of rules.
He would seem to be speaking out, giving his opinion, on his perception of these politicians.
Your remarks seem argumentative and contentious unless you are simply being sarcastic. In which case, adding an emoticon would clarify that a bit.
Only other reason that I can imagine for the reply would be to set up a defense for past postings - where someone was criticized or sanctioned for bashing.
Would like to see this thread get back on track before it is locked.
