I was looking around the net and stumbled across this site on Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Cooper_(colonel) . It has got me to thinking now, though I did not know who delveloped the concepts here, I do use them. Is this technique used in the majority of hangun training around the country or do instructors just use what works for them? The varing levels of mental alertness as well as different conditions of readiness for one's sidearm make good sense as well. I understand the Col. Cooper was a great and well respected man, a true american hero, as well in my opinion as a genius for those interested in personal defense.
