MD State Police are getting a new Superintendent!

Finally, the hapless Col. Terrence B. Sheridan is retiring, and law-abiding citizens in the Mid-Atlantic region are breathing a sigh of relief. But don't hold your breath folks--his replacement, MD Transportation Authority's Chief Marcus Brown is stepping into the position...

Brown, before he was the head of MTA was--wait for it--Commander of the Baltimore Police Department. He was given the MTA job because of his excellent track record of support for Gov. O'Malley while Commander of BPD.

Backs get scratched, palms get crossed, and all is well in the world of Maryland Politics.

Brown has already been embroiled in a potential corruption scandal, where the pension plan he got after leaving BPD (despite the fact he did not meet the service requirements for receiving a retirement pension) is under question:

So, there ya go, MD. Meet the new Boss, same as the old Boss...

They don't even try to cover up the fact that the entire State Government is an organized criminal enterprise, anymore. Every time a press release comes out of Annapolis or Pikesville, the entire population should just open their windows, lean out, and shout BULL$#!+...
