Bill of Rights​

Section 1. Equality and rights of men.

That all men are by nature equally free and independent and have certain inherent rights, of which, when they enter into a state of society, they cannot, by any compact, deprive or divest their posterity; namely, the enjoyment of life and liberty, with the means of acquiring and possessing property, and pursuing and obtaining happiness and safety.

Section 13. Militia; standing armies; military subordinate to civil power.

That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state, therefore, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; that standing armies, in time of peace, should be avoided as dangerous to liberty; and that in all cases the military should be under strict subordination to, and governed by, the civil power.

When section 1 and section 13 are read together, McAuliffe's sworn oath to defend the above, the executive order is in breach of his oath.

Hey McStupid, of course a militia would be better armed than a police force. A militia is supposed to defend the people against government tyranny. A police force is designed to suppress the lightly armed, or even better in the eyes of tyrants, disarmed citizens.---No support for hate groups here, just a statement of the obvious---

Why does McStupid make these observations? He is reverting to the fear mongering of tyrants in order to prep the political battlefield Their tyrannic argument is: people should give up their freedoms in order to gain security. If nobody can legally own firearms then nobody will walk down the street open carrying and then people will be safe. Tsk, tsk. McAwful, we know your creed.

The premise of McAwful's argument is that the people cannot be trusted, and we must take away their guns to keep them in check. The founding fathers wrote the 2A because they trusted the people to keep the government in check, not the other way around.

The police were outgunned in Charlottsville and no shots were fired. A coincidence? I think not.

PS, The creeps that wore white hoods and swastikas were not a real militia, they were just ignorant hatemongers with guns.
