Buy a Sig.

100% Reliability

Don't get me wrong, Sigs are great guns BUT I've had two that had to go back to the factory. One ejected it's rear sight, the other wouldn't reliably extract casings, causing frequent jams.

"100% Reliability" is marketing, not actual results...

Hey now....why are you raining on my parade!

Anything created by human hands is inherently imperfect, and will fail.

Now, if the Good Lord Himself made a handgun, THAT I might be willing to believe 100% reliability on.

Over the many years of shooting guns, both as a civilian, and a former infantry sergeant, I have seen some fine guns jam/fail/break, and seen some brute ugly that were old as hell, and just as crusty, that never seemed to stop no matter what. I am of the philosophy, that a gun is only as good or bad as it's own individuality allows. One can perform routine maintenance, do guns smithing to smooth an action or fine tune it for a particular use, but in the end it is still it's own gun. Sure, i agree, some designs are inherently better than others, and some have better reputations in general, but as a machine in general, it is the individual item you will inevitably contend with.

Each firearm is it's own unique individual ;)Treat accordingly.

My understanding is God personally commissioned Mr. Gaston Glock to handle that for him. A good leader delegates... [ducking!]
Nah, 'Moses' is the one true disciple. ;)

This is my own personal observation (IANAL). I have Never had a malfunction of a 1911, Never, Not one, Not every, in my brief (33 yrs) of using them. This is Not a scientific result, nor the opinion of this or any other authority. This is MY personal observation.
