Busy, busy, busy... WOW, great day at the show. Lots of the OC crew there at one point or another. The entire day felt like 3 hours to me. Had many conversations with LOTS of people today. Educated many good folks. I felt a little better thismonth than last month since I actually had a gun on my hip today. (Last month I was about 2 days without a gun since I sold my Kimber, then got my new Glock the following Monday.)

Thanks for the brownies Jim . See some of you tomorrow.Looking forward to another great day.

We should be thinking about doing another print run on the pamphlets. The last order was 8000 folded but I can't find the info on who printed them or what the actual cost was. Anyone with that info? I've been thru all my threads since Dec 2008.

funny you should mention pamphlets. I was at our local IGA today and noticed they have a few empty plastic pamphlet holders for some of the local real estate comp, and local businesses. thought I might tryto print a few if I can figure out he doubles sided thing on my printer, and leave a few there.

Just got home from the show and it was great to finally meet a few of you M1Gunnr, Spydertatto, TriggrDr and a few others stopped by. Got to listen, understand and talk with a few citizens. Some start out with 'Yeah it's legal....but....' Some say 'I didn't know that and ask some great questions...

Even one Puyallup PD working security for the show stopped by and chatted for a few minutes. He was very happy to see us and stated 'I wish more people would open carry' this led to a nice discussion about LEO education and the such. He was young, fresh out of the academy and stated that LEO are now taught about open carry at the academy! Very nice to hear.

Kuddos to TriggrDr, M1Gunnr and Spydertatto!

Great weekend at the show. Much slower traffic today (Sunday) as expected. Still had many good conversations with people. Had a few over the weekend that knew OC is legal. I personally scored a great deal from a good local company that makes holsters.

Good to hang out with friends and continue to build relationships with same-minded people. Also great to see the enthusiasm, from the newer members here, at the show and also on the forums. Seems to be breathing a little life into this group.

Anyone interested in the next show, please let me know. Lets just keep this thread open so everyone can be on the same page for organizational purposes. If you prefer, please PM me. The next show will depend on how many people can help out with covering table cost. Just so everyone is clear, the cost is $40.00 for one 7" table for both Sat and Sun. I think maybe we'll put out a jar for tips at the next show, to help cover table cost also. I think we need to set up a PayPal account for our group to make this kind of thing easier. We'll talk about that later though.

Good to see you all this weekend, thanks for stopping by, and thanks to Jim and Bill and also Nick for hanging out.

OK, Before all you anti WAC show people start in, I will explain why no cameras allowed. 4-5 years ago, the anti gun crowd sent in an under 21 person who did look older than 21, and photographed (video) him buying a gun from a private vendor. They then did an interview ith him in the parking lot. The objective was to support the idea of a gun show loop hole. They have tried this several times since then. Now, I hope you understand.

instead of "ask here or at"... why not say "Get informed here or at"

instead of the RCW: put Article 1; Section 24; The right of the individual citizen to bear arms in defense of himself, or the state, shall not be impaired

I would maybe try to center up the third line a little more with the block below it. The pic of the gal on the right makes this all a little awkwardto center-up real nice, but It could be just a tad nicer.

Not trying to criticize, I have no experience with this stuff. Could be that what I'm suggesting is just not doable.

Looks Awesome, would still put the RCW on it somewhere, even if really small, maybe under the hot chic. All you need after hanging it, is a clear plastic pamphlet holder full of the the pamphlets.

'Aight.. I'll make a revision here in a sec, try and center it up. I see what you are talking about. The wording is centered in the page (from the right of the OCDO, to the right margin of the page).. The girl was a last minute thought.

I don't know what I am doing either.. I just like to play with publisher.. I design houses, and commercial buildings!
