Have you noticed how slowly the clock creeps when you are up and your favorite breakfast establishments are still shuttered and dark?

I'm not desperate enough for Waffle House most mornings. OTOH there is this:

Sure I can fix something here, but that would be my pre-breakfast.

Had ham salad with tartar sauce on Ritz crackers for breakfast and Pillsbury orange glazed biscuits for post breakfast at DoubleTap's.

Now some Orville Redenbacher's extra butter popcorn.

Amazing that you've lived as long as you have, eating that kind of ****.
If you think that ingesting that "kind of ****" is bad, you can only imagine what comes of it.

I am a gastric optical illusion..

Ha ha, true that User has it a bit backward on the digestion process. Some very delicious food listed in these forums, evidence of good taste. But I have to admit I have also worried a bit seeing fast food and similar listed daily. Grape, you're a good moderator and I want that to continue for a long time. Eat a healthy balance. Let the salad eaters also get a glimpse of your 1911! :)

It is difficult preparing food for one and outside sources limit to what is offered. That and my taste buds make many things taste like something a cat would cover up.

I am especially fond of old world style Lebanese cooking. Grape leafs w/meat, cabbage rolls and kibe are healthy. Salata (salad) is a personal favorite...with lots of garlic.

That sounds tasty and healthy indeed. Not kidding: several times your posts have made me hungry. I've been known to actually go grab a snack after reading one of yours!! :D

You/we know he needs all the calories he can get.
Now the smokes are another story...

My doctor said I would live longer if I quit.

My question is how much longer?

At least it is something that I enjoy and still works...:D
