Have you ever been mistaken for a police officer while OCing?

I get asked if I'm a LEO constantly, both when OC'ing and when in uniform without a firearm(I'm also a security officer). Although I think part of the reason people believe I ama LEO is that I also have my tactical light on the other side.They see a pistol and gear on the belt, even if it's only a flashlight,and they assume you have to be a LEO.

because using a cheap(not inexpensive ) holster is the same as stuffing it in your pants naked

I get a free coffee verytime Iget gaseven thoughI tell them I'm not LE.
Gray haired or shaved head doesn't matter it might be my Buddha.
It isn't becauseI dress like one, I wear shorts.

Maybe they're just glad to have someone there who is armed and can provide protection in the event of a robbery...
