Gun Store Recomendations

In the VA beach area the only two I haven't seen mentioned are Bob's gun shop in Norfolk. And The Armory in VA beach. Personally don't really recommend either solely based on the attitude of employees. I've been to both before the gun rush and was treated great. But since about Oct-Nov timeframe I will not go in either store. I would much rather pay more to a shop I know than be treated like I'm stupid.

Its amazing how many people have had negative experiences with gun stores. I have never seen any other retail industry function like this. Perhaps some of the older guys on here might have some additional insights into why this is?

If you do a search, I think there has been a fair amount of discussion about Bob's. It's a good one to avoid.

01FFL's must comply with zoning and have a business "premises" but it does not need to be a "storefront". Still plenty of "Kitchen table" FFL's out there.
