I am going to South Carolina tomorrow and it just hit me that it may not have reciprocity like North Carolina for concealed carry. What do you know, it doesn't. Anyone know any details...can I open carry there? What about in the car carry? Can I have my gun at all? Thanks!

First SC does not recognize VA permits. Second there is no open carry in SC except on your own property or while hunting or fishing. Third you can have a loaded handgun in your car with or without a permit as long as it is in the glove box or console. Also you may carry it in the trunk or in a case behind the reamost seat of a SUV.
