What article presents evidence that leads you to that conclusion? If you are speaking of the article linked in the OP, you must be basing that statement on the words of the lawyer, who hasn't even reviewed the 911 tapes yet. In other words, you are basing your statement upon the press release of the family's lawyer, not on an actual account of events as they transpired.

Gee...thanks for sharing with me why I said what I did.

I wondered why I said that...now I know.

It's the middle of the night, you are walking home, you are seventeen. There is a man in a truck following you around. The man exits his vehicle, and makes his way towards you.

You begin to pick-up your pace but the man is attempting to keep up.

Would you be the aggressor if you were to stop, turn around, and demand to know why the grown man is following you?

Zimmerman had no business following, or pursuing the individual; you choose which.

Zimmerman was a grown man that, in the middle of the night, was following a young man.

I wonder how many of you would draw down on Zimmerman if he was coming after you in the middle of the night.

Personally, a man is following me in the middle of the night, and I step up my pace, and the man is still behind me, I would turn around, no point in getting beat from the back, or shot in the back.

I would have seen Zimmerman as a personal threat considering it is the evening, and he is following (pursuing) me.

Ma'am, I don't know if it's your neat new avatar, or if you are finally getting through to me, but I agree with you totally.

So, if my guess wasn't correct, what did lead you to your conclusion?

Here is your statement:
Basing my comment on the article presented, I'd say this was a sad case of an unjustified shooting of an unarmed young man, which resulted in his death.
If you are basing that comment on the article presented in the OP, you ARE basing it upon misinformation. If you used a separate source, it is ALSO misinformation.

And...had he the good sense to follow the dispatcher's admonition, this boy would still be alive.

That's just something I say!

If he would have not stopped following like the dispatcher advised the young girl would have never been raped and murdered. The instances of outcomes are endless. Fact: he did stop, when the dispatcher advised he acknowledged with, OK!

If the boy had possibly not attacked the boy would possibly be alive day, how's that for another possibility?

I also wonder why the media and activists are not equally enraged and engaged. I Guess no one is going to hold rally’s, print tee-shirts or meet with law makers over this crime, I would think the person dousing another human with gas would expect death will occur. Lucky for this kid he did expire.

No one is protesting or shedding a tear for this woman either. Where's the outrage?

Shaima Alawadi and her family fled Iraq nearly two decades ago as Saddam Hussein crushed a Shiite uprising, settling in the U.S. so they would no longer face persecution, a family friend said.

Alawadi, 32, grew up in the country's largest Iraqi enclaves, wore the Muslim headscarf and volunteered at the mosque.
Now, after her body was found severely beaten in her suburban San Diego home, police, the FBI and members of the Iraqi community are wondering whether her death was a hate crime or something else.

Gang tattoos? His tats aren't gang tattoos. I guess I should hide my Army tats or my Shamrock. Because clearly, combined with my hoodie and other characteristics I'll be mistaken for a gang member... /sarcasm

Not a gang tattoo...

Classic...

Oh there is also a picture of him with gold teeth lol. CLEARLY he's a banger...

Unless of course, the Miami Sybunas (apparently a name of a girl) are a new gang I never heard of. And my own brother has the Jesus hands. He's a Marine so I guess he IS a gang member? LOLOLOLOLOL

/sarcasm

Exactly. There was a man in a church I went to who had those gold caps on several of his teeth. I guess he was a banger too.

Marshaul's Postulate of Police Self-Comportment:

It is never a bad idea to shoot anybody. You can just claim they tried to trap your arm in their window or something.

OK, sorry, that was maybe a bit over the top. But I really couldn't resist.

Rofl!!!
