Emergency issuance of CPL in cases of restraining orders

was in a discussion with someone & they heard that a law was just passed that allows a person filing a restraining order to use the order to obtain a temporary Concealed license (or whatever those of you in IL call it ;) ) for (I believe) 90 days in order for the paperwork for a permanent application for same to be processed.

can someone point me in the direction of the bill number or a place where I can go to find more details regarding this? This sounds like something we need to look at in WA

However, a temporary emergency license issued under this subsection shall not exempt the holder of the license from any records check requirement. Temporary emergency licenses shall be easily distinguishable from regular licenses.
