How did it go at the Cracker Barrel? How many of you open carried? Were there any bad/good reactions?

My brother likes to take me shooting up on a little hill by Goshen Warm Springs. It is a little hard to get up the road to some old cement footings, where we shoot, but we have never had a problem when we shoot there.

Went just fine. Didn't "feel" too many people staring at us. There were 7 of us that went, 4 of us were carrying. I carried my G23, packingmama carried her G26, b1ack5mith carried his G23, and his dad carried b1ack5mith's old HiPoint .40 because he didn't have a holster for his Ruger Blackhawk .357 magnum. :( My friend would have carried his .38 special, but he didn't have a holster either.

Serpa has a Holster for S&W .38 special ( j-frame ) @ Sportmans Warehouse. Is it the S&W 637 ??

If it's a J-frame, which I suspect, than it's only about $32. They don't have any holsters for the Speed Loaders yet but he could buy a Speed Loader in Black Leather on a Paddle set-up

He told me that he wants me to take him shopping for a semi-auto. He dosen't want to carry a Utah 4-shooter! (no cfp) :(

Well..,you and I have talked about Utah Loaded ( no CFP ) and a 5 shooter is 3 shooter and a 6 shooter is a 4 shooter.

My wife wants a S&W .38. Ask him what model and she might be very interested.

Has anyone contacted the Management at Red Robin to confim that they will not cause any problems when we all show up on the 20th. As much as I would like to hear them all trying to justify kicking us all out, I really don't want to make the drive and not even get a good meal out of it;) B

schweet! :D

hey hey hey... a utah 4 shooter with magnum rounds (and if you can aim) is a good deal! (unless theres 5 bad guys...)

YEEEYUH sounds like a good get together!

ooh kevin... i spent 100$ in ammo today XD i got 100, 357 rounds, and 150, .40 rounds (already shot 80 of em :D) and the ammo i got was CCI blazer brass rounds (dont get em if you want accurate shots) theyre good for cheap handgun rounds... but they seem to go down/left alot, WOLF is in the lead for accuracy so far... only get the blazer brass if you just wanna make some noise, or put holes in stuff at close range, only about 20-30% of my shots went where i wanted (BUT i hit a box at 100 yards, which suprised me!) i tried callin you earlier to take you to that spot! i went shootin today, and killed some bottles :) sometimes people set up a crapload of watermelons and stuff, and they just leave em there (MWAHAHAHAHHA... targets ;))

yep, thats my update so far today!
