as far as i know, everyone on this thread has been trying to lead toward getting people involved.
the political environment in CO. is the same as VA, as is all of the other states. you have to start somewhere.

i personally have no problem with students carrying concealed at least. they will be carrying when they leave the school. if they then want to uncover than great.

but the point being we have to start somewhere

We had a movie on the quad night or something tonight, they had a big inflatable screen and showed a movie with a bunch of students watching the movie picnic style in the dark late tonight, and thinking about it and walking to my car I was wishing I was armed in case of something like VT happening again.

No student should be left defenseless, especially at a public university. Hell, even the rent-a-cops aren't armed. Didn't a security officer recently get shot in DC because he wasn't allowed to carry? Think how much safer the streets around VCU, for instance, if class lets out and dozens of students are walking to their cars or apartments OC'ing.
