I appreciate your bringing this up, but with respect to the law, "possession" is defined as autonomous control. My son is not allowed by state law to possess a handgun, but it's perfectly legal for me to take him to the shooting range, as the firearm may be in his hands, but remains in my possession from the legal standpoint.Don't get me wrong, I like what you are proposing and support it, but thought someone should play devils advocate on this.
