We met a Canadian family last year camping next to us. If I remember correctly he said he and everyone he knew did not register their guns.

As of last April, Canadians are no longer required to register their long guns, except Quebec (non-restricted we call them). And what registry there was, was destroyed (except Quebec). We are, however, required to register and transfer our pistols and restricted firearms. (this includes the dreaded AR-15 and it's variants) The registration of restricted firearms has been since the late 30's. I will likely be bringing my Ruger SR9 and will leave it in it's required Canadian transport system to show you guys what's required of us.

I need a tent spot

I was suppose to share a spot with some one with the OC guys but it was a misunderstanding.
So if any one got room for one tent spot for me and my new wife that will be great. Remember my tent is on the roof of my Jeep.

Will attend campout. Is a spot open for a small backpacker's tent

I will attend the campout. Does anyone have a spot for a small (2 person size) backpacker's tent at their reserved spot ? (myself only) If not, I'll reserve a campsite if any are still open. I will bring my own consumeables, backpackers stove, etc.

Looks like I'm going to make it this year. Anyone have open tent sites or should I reserve a spot? Looks like spots 42, 44, and 46 are still available but they are on the other end from where everyone else is. It would just be me, my Harley, and my little tent and I'm not super loud.

It appears that Zenov, who was going to use my available tent spot, is not going to be able to make it. It is open for anyone who wants to set up camp there again. Since I have already paid for the trailer spot, it is a no cost solution for a tent user:)

Second vehicle: $10 per night is charged for a second vehicle unless it is towed by a recreational vehicle. Extra vehicles must be parked in designated campsite or extra vehicle parking spaces.

I'd like to reserve the tent spot at OlGutShotWilly's camp.

OlGutShotWilly, I'd like to pitch my tent at your camp site. Which site number is it? I'll leave my pet Wolverine at home.

Sounds good to me!

I believe it is spot 10. I'll double check, and if you don't see anything different, plan to show up there. Plan right now is to be there thursday evening.

Cheers!

Well, I'm just going to go ahead and show up and keep my fingers crossed. I'll be on my Harley so just need somewhere to pitch a small tent. If anyone has a spot that they can put my name on, great. If not, we'll see who is there when I arrive. I probably will roll in Friday evening as I teach school and can't leave til 3. It's about 3 1/2 hours so I should be there around 7ish.

@heresolong, Thor80 was saving me his tent spot, but I have been scheduled to work and had to bail:mad:, so send him a PM to see if it is still available.

Camp out

I've really been dreading this. That's why I've put it off so long. But, I can't put it off anymore. My back is not getting any better and it's worse than it was last year. Because of this, I'm going to have to cancel out on the camp out this year. That will free up a tent site for someone. I really hope you guys have fun. Who knows? I may make a day trip or two out that way.

Looks like I will not be able to attend the camp out. Thanks to OlGutShotWilly for offering me a place to pitch a tent, but I will be far away on that weekend and busy with other stuff. Have a great camp out all.

Calling all campers……Since our 3rd Annual OC camping trip is quickly approaching my wife has got in contact with some of the other wives and decided it was a good idea to organize the dinners a bit better this year, so here it goes....

Thursday Dinner will be “Michele Chili” (those who know what this is will be clapping at this point) so bring a bun, burger, dog or just a bowl for a great tummy filler. If you would like Chili maybe you can bring a side to have with dinner to share with the group.

Friday Night is Barbara's “BBQ Pulled Pork” so bring buns and a side to share.

Saturday Night is “Steak Night or what ever kinda meat you want to bring to the fire, if everyone brings a side we should have enough to feed the OC army converging on Wenatchee this year.

Rumor has it that a Spokane attendee is also planning to do a Rib Roast or Chicken either Friday or Saturday as well. So my wife being the planner that she is would like to know who all is planning to attend and what you think you might bring to the table. If you could email HER with some info that would be great HER email is mskittie at yahoo dott com, thanks for making this a great event everyone.
