I was sketchy on the Preemption part I admit. The part I was enforcing with that though is not outlawed, and no law regarding its restriction is emplied anywhere. The rest of my post's are sound.

Hey I am not going to pick sides in your debate you had with CCarry but I will say that you were the one who did most of the name calling. And I am also not going to rehash what was said for the past day but some of your other posts were not completely factual either. But hey we all make mistakes sometimes, right?

You're doing exactly what you are preaching about. You made one statement you cant back up. But expect me to. You focused on ONE part of the whole thing.

I get a kick out of it when you when you guys run out of steam you fall back on the fail safe statements regarding the movement, and forcing OC on the public, yadda yadda ad nauseam. You guys have it nailed. The whole movement is based off this one sight, in this one Utah section, inside this one single thread.

Before I respond I would like some clarification from you. Am I included in the group you are referring to when you say "you guys"?

Apparently, most of the people here are smart and they can see the damage D94R is doing and they want nothing to do with him. Completely understandable from an real OC activist view point who actually knows what they are talking about!

If you can't make your argument stand on it's OWN merits, you don't get any better by making personal attacks.

Just because somebody "squeals loudest" does not mean that there argument is any better that someone who "squeals quietly!"

Here is my opinion take it for what it is worth (usually about $.02) Why you are still debating I am not sure. The one point I would agree with CCarry on is you should educate yourself as much as possible before you make statements about the laws.(CCarry this does not mean I am siding with you). To sum it up get your facts correct first. I can understand how emotions can get the better of us sometimes but the mature thing to do is to address the issue and not resort to mindless name calling or personal attacks.

Is this one thread going to stop the OC movement of course not, but if you would like to be a better OC activist you should do your own reseach because then you can be an informed activist.

I've done no such thing. I merely wanted to point out something that was inaccurate, that could possibly confuse others.

However, if anyone needs a bitch slapping, it is those of us that keep replying to this thread.

I feel that this has gone on way to long. My posts started with wanting to change a policy I saw unfit. And yes I do go to boondocks alot.

I allowed mike to make it right by changing policy that I did not agree wtih he did. Once the policy was changed I took it a step further and asked him about another Issue I am waiting to hear back from him from the email I sent him.

But guess what I am doing this mainly for myself and a few select people. Your comments don't effect me in the least. I want to bring about a change in rules I see unfit if nothing happens at least I know I tried.

When he stated I could CC I already knew this based on Utah Law when I asked to OC I did this for a reason. I know if I get caught OC I get asked to leave I do so

same with CC am I breaking any laws The answer is no. In the end all the negitive comments made hold no water with me.

After I left the Army in 2001 I told myself never again will I allow my voice to go unheard even if it is unpopular. Since when do I need validation to change a rule I see unfit. I see rules changing all the time and will keep changing for the good.

The freedom I fought for does not end when I left the military. I vote at every election I play a active role in my community. I abide by the law and raise my kids with the same morals. and the same freedom I enjoy some day they will enjoy.

As far a criminals who open carry they are few and a exception. I belive the criminal was not OC'ing but in the commision of a crime which means that someone robbing a store could also be precived as open carrying or even a car jacking. So yes you are right if you want to post the case number I would love to read it. So post it Or pm me and I will read the report I love stories that end like this. I have a few cases I could post with pictures that are interesting.

In the end I will agree to disagree OC'ing is the right thing for me but maybe the Idea of OC'ing is a bad thing to do for another. Freedom to chose is what makes it a great place to live. I will never be offended by your posts because they are opinions.

So post what you may but rember one day when you are running for a office or even looking for a postion on a board your comments and negitive postings could come back to bother you. but as far as being angered I know their postings I choose to read personal attacks from both ends are childish and I choose not to get caught up in them.

this is just as shameful as what swillden and jeff johnson did to brokenarrows at utah concealed carry a few months ago. we all out to be shamed of ourselves.

I am not saying that Brokenarrows is a saint, I know for a fact he is not. But he changed his opinins to the negative after being here awhile.

sure we call all blame BA and say he was a troll or a baby or whatever. I thought some of his posts had merit. But he is against us now, not with us, and its mostly our fault on the whole.
