Guys,

I'm just heaving in my usual reminder.

Facts are neither nutty or sane. Even nuts can possess facts. Its not the facts that make them nutty, its how they evaluate those facts.

For example, Bilderburg gets lots seemingly nutty commentary about world domination conspiracy and so forth.

But, the fact of the matter is that Bilderburg does meet. And, its not as a social gathering, neither. They don't hold these things as a pool party in Monaco or the French Riviera. Its a three-day get together of meetings where attendees break up into groups. This ain't a social gathering.

While a concerted, deliberate, express conspiracy towards world domination as presented by the nuts is unlikely, lets look at it more down to earth.

It seems entirely plausible for a group of the richest and most influential to get together and work out some level of coordination of activity. One need not even have a formal ratification of a "Plan". All one needs is for each individual to have a general understanding of what the others want to do, and act himself in that general direction, or even act not contrary to the general direction of the others. You end up with the same effect as an express, agreed-upon conspiracy.

I once asked a guy with lots of experience in sneaky things (intelligence) whether he had any information on the persistent reports that Bill Buckley and National Review were a CIA front steering conservative opinion so it would align with government intentions. He replied, "Does it matter?"* His point being that whether Buckley was acting for the CIA or not, you got the same result. A conspiracy between Buckley and CIA was immaterial, you got the same result either way. Moreover, and to the point, Buckley's writings were just as susceptible to careful evaluation (critical thinking), regardless of whether he actively coordinated with CIA.

It would be beyond stupid to think these Bilderbergers are working in the direction of giving up/reducing their influence, power, wealth, or negotiating position.

And, history has too many JP Morgans and Cecil Rhodeses who also did good things to burnish their image (or confuse people) while raping others economically and increasing their control.

If Barry Hussein can try to run things on $300K a year, there is no reason to think people who've aggregated zillions can't or wouldn't be trying something similar. Those richies didn't get that way by not controlling things in their favor, and being effective at it.

So, my point is, don't throw away the facts because they're presented by a nut. Make your own evaluation.

*Technically, his reply was a dodge. And, it came very fast. Leading me to conclude that he knew about those persistent reports.

The objection being voiced in the thread is not to the conference, but the characterization by the OP of the linked video being "News coverage."

The second poster is just prescribing a healthy helping of salt to go with the video. I was pointing out why the video would have been credited as "News coverage."

That is all.

Someone needs to invent the RNN (Raw News Network). No commentary at all. Facts are presented. Conclusion drawing (and jumping) are left to the consumer of the raw facts.

Oh, I see. I get it.

Side note. That's the second time today you clarified something that you didn't state at first. I'm thinking it might be helpful if you just say the clarification the first time around. Save us some of this back and forth.

This is an Alex Jones video ... isn't he the person that believes that earth has been infiltrated by shape-shifting reptilian lifeforms? Just askin' ....

Just askin huh? Looks to me like a personal attack and maybe a little touch of jeliousy, but maybe I'm wrong so I'll answer. No, he is not the person who believes that. Alex Jones has been exposing corruption within the power structure since 1997 far as I know of.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3tjrRoV8Xg America: Wake Up (Or Waco) ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZRUUFCrPSk Are You Practicing Communism ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Klqv9t1zVww Police State 4 ...

Oh, and about 30 more documentary movies, an addition to his daily radio show and more recent nightly news. His goal is to wake people up to the truth and snap them out of their zombie like state. Thats enough about Jones. Far as Bilderberg goes, I'm sure they are discussing ways to ban guns, and confiscate them, amoung other things, like FEMA re education camps, softkill in food water and medicine, death panels, ect, ect... say what you want about Alex, but if not for his efforts in exposing all he has exposed, our guns would already be taken, along with the 1st and 4th, and this forum would be no more. Talk even of only handguns in holsters, would be punishable by disapearance under NDAA.

Sorry, I had him confused with David Icke. And, for the record, I *was* just asking. How you could conflate that into a "personal attack" baffles me. Personal attack against WHO? Jones? You? A "little touch of jeliousy [sic]? Of what or whom do you suppose me to be jealous? As for your included rants about the Bilderberg group, can you give me any cites from them that make you "sure they are discussing ways to ban guns?"

They are violating the logan act by discussing world policy, their goals include crashing the US dollar and currency of other nations, hurting the economy enough to have the people begging for them to step in and save us, thereby living under their rules. It would be foolish to think they weren't talking about taking away the guns so we can fight their tyranny. The founders warned of bankers, well, bankers are at the top of the ladder.

Nightly News- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVjw3-JFQQY :go to: 24:53

This group gets to decide who will be the next president of the united states, the idea that we vote to elect our leaders is a sham. Many are jelious of Alex Jones including Glen Beck because of what he has built on his own from scratch. His kind of news (the truth) would never be allowed on mainstream TV news opperations, so he now has his own networks and outlets, his own news team, and they all risk their lives every day, in addition to risking ridicule by those who refuse to look into the facts that are repeatedly presented by him and his news crew. Thats something I admire, that takes courage, and it's really something to be jelious of. Thats why I asked.

I don't endoese David Icke, he is alittile out there for my tastes. but you and others should know the facts before putting that on someone else. Alex Jones like others who don't deserve it, has been attacked by those trying to discredit him instead of looking at the facts. I suggest you make it a point to find out who certain people are and what they stand for like,1- Alex Jones 2- Jesse Ventura 3- Ron Paul, and others. There are less credible people like Linsey Willams who said the dollar would crash by the end of 2012 and gas at the station would be over 10$s a gallon if you can even get it, who has been on his show, but most everything Alex has said has turned out to be true. That doesn't mean he is never wrong, but it's rare, and he is only reporting on his findings, not making up stuff as accused.
