"Assault Ban" in the State House

It didn't take "Jabba the Hutt" very long to get some ridiculous legislation in the Legislature.

If passed (likely as the dems control ALL THREE branches now), this could make many gun owners instant felons.

Well that sucks, I was planning a trip to IL to visit my son on the motorcycle. I had planned on taking my Glock but by the time I go it will be illegal. I also was planning on taking either my shockwave, or a ar pistol for camping. Looks like I am stuck with taking a single shot shotgun, and one of my revolvers. I don't like carrying the revolvers on the bike, I like them too much for them to possibly get damaged. I don't care if the Glock gets buggered up. Only other option would be a lever action pistol.

WW - that isn't all. I was reading another list a pending legislation that would, among other depredations, would require FOID card holders (Firearm Owners ID another Ill-Annoy requirement) to list all their "social media accounts" for examination by the IL State Police - FOID Bureau. That was one of 4 pieces (of #$%&) legislation already "in process".

If the politicians thought the outflow of residents has been bad the last 5-6 years, they ain't seen nuthin' yet !!

Well I have decided to take my Taurus 82 loaded with Underwood Ammo Keith load, pretty much magnum velocity in a 38 spl case. Best I am going to able to do on the shotty is take a double broken down while traveling. My double is not designed for high brass slug loads though, but it will shoot them if kept to a minimum. It is a light cowboy action SXS and it can bruise even with bird shot. My only other option is to store my guns in Indiana before entering Illinois. What sucks is I bought both the AR pistol, and the Shockwave for travel on the motorcycle.

I really feel bad for those gun owners in NC, a whole lot of Glocks are going to become illegal, or have to be registered with the state police. Which plastic fantastic are probably a good portion of gun owners inventory. What is even worse is all those pump shotties for hunting will become outlawed, most pumps have the capability to hold more than five rounds with mini shells. I foresee double barrel shotguns, and revolvers getting real expensive in IL.
