First, let me say that I do not drink and drive. And I do not drink and carry (guns).
I work 12 hr shifts at my local SD. After work tonight I decided to meet up with friends for a dart tourney at a bar that I'm familiar with. Wife drops me off. Fun night, lost in darts but had a good time.
Order some hot wings to go, get them and head out to truck. Wife and two daughters in parking lot waiting to pick me up. This is about 9:45 pm. Get to truck, open wings to eat one akd see they all all burnt. About to go back in and wife says, "It's ok honey. I'll go and re-order them and get them right". THANK GOD.
Note...while I do not carry either my Glock 19 or Glock 26 when drinking (I had 1 pitcher of draft tonight)...I ALWAYS carry no less than 3 knives on me at all times.
Wife goes in, I'm in passenger seat of Jeep Cherokee with kids in back seat.
I see this red pickup speed into the parking lot and stop right next to my truck. Driver, 20's and sketchy looking, gets out and come to my window. I see him the entire time. Wife has keys so can't open window. As he approaches I crack the door slightly..with foot on it to push open abrubtly if needed. Hand goes to CRKT knife along the waist of my belt.
He come up saying..."I don't mean to bother you". I replied very firmly, "You are!" He says, "I see you have kids in the car"...to which I immediately respond, "Back the f**k up!" He starts to say something else and I cut him off with, "You're about to make a BIG mistake..back the F**K UP!"...as I leaned up in my seat.
This guy runs to his truck, hops in and peels out of the parking lot....almost side swiping another vehicle on his way out.
Great feeling being the "protector" of my family...but Jesus! This ass monkey had balls. I am not very friendly looking. It took balls to come up to me in the first place.
Glad no one died tonight. But criminals are getting ballsier by the day.
