that coney island is good but expensive for what it is. bob evans, cracker barrel and fire mountain come to mind and are good for non cpl. fazolis treats oc people good too. logans roadhouse is likely good too,could probably get management to ok non cpl. ill be there likely

Michigander and I were hoping to avoid chain stores. We want to give business to mom and pops if we can. The point again is to JUST PICK a place so we can plan the event.

I choose Zeus because it's easy to find, close to 96 which helps those from the east and west. It's a family place, it doesn't have a liquor license, and the food looks good (I have never eaten there so I don't know.). I really don't care where we eat, just pick a place so we can move on.

As of December 2nd, it will have been 5 years to the day since the first OCDO arranged open carry meeting in Michigan.

To mark this occasion, a meet and greet at a decent restaurant in Lansing seems like a good idea. While the first meeting was in Brighton, Lansing seems like a more reasonable place on account of more options, as well as being a more central location to southern Michigan.

I used to eat there all the time, when I lived in Lansing. It's still the closest place I can go to for Gyros. And I don't think their prices are any worse than Bob Evans.

the family buffet on cedar just s. of the 96 overpass(across the street from ponderosa, next to speedway) seemed to be OC friendly this weekend, decent food and prices, they are pretty new and would love the business, have group seating available.

could also work for a future OC event.
