A) Flood the Attorney General's office with requests for his opinion on every scenario where you think you'd be in violation of the law, CC'ing your legislators. If he won't respond, use your legislators to follow up. Wash-Rinse-Repeat.
Remember that even with NICS, the burden was placed on the dealer to get a background check for arms they sold on their license. You could/can still legally get firearms without going through a dealer. If he responds affirming that it is indeed a violation, make sure your legislators know, your friends on social media know, etc., to start the process to roll back their criminalizing morally positive behaviors, like my storing my adult son's firearms while he is deployed.
If he says it isn't a violation, isn't that a "get out of jail free" card?
