Got my CPL. 14 Calendar days.

Can anyone recommend a good IWB holster for a Glock 23?

www.whitehatholsters.com - cheaper than Crossbreed, you have the option of black horsehide, you can get the combat cut option at no extra cost, and the kydex is interchangable so you can use it with other guns without having to purchase entire new holsters.

I have lots of holster options and links listed at http://Tinyurl.com/New-to-guns

That's good reference material. Nice job.

EMN, why are you arguing with this guy? He is a laughing at you right now because he just likes to argue.
He is using out of date info on the SERPA.
He is ignoring what everyone is saying about training and consistency.
He is giving wrong info about what happened with Tex Grebner and ignoring the fact that his ND had to do with training and consistency.
He said he doesn't OC.

He's wrong. You know it, I know it and so does everybody else. Just ignore him.

I'm not laughing at anyone here. I'm not using out of date info. I currently own a brand new Serpa, purchased out of ignorance on my part. I can jam the lever with no problems. I'm almost tempted to make a youtube vid to demostrate that the lever can be jammed, and that it can be ripped off a person in a gun grab attempt - obviously it would be ruined after that, but I have no intention of ever using it, so why not put it to good use for educational purposes.

Any device can be made to fail. Don't be a complete toolbag.

Um no, not really. Some devices are made to stand up to real life situations, and some aren't.

I've never seen such consistant Serpa love in one place on the internet before. Is the Serpa held in high regards in the OC community or something? Is there any holster out there that the OC community considers a bad holster to use in gun fight?

Actually yes, really. Your argument of "nuh uh!" Doesn't count here. I own a couple serpas along with a myriad of others. Sometimes I use them and sometimes I don't. I think that the latest versions are a good product with a well thought out design. They do take some getting used to, but the same can be said for the longest serving battle rifle in US history. I'm no serpa lover, I prefer leather. However, they do serve a purpose. Why do you feel the need to hate on them? Because some knucklehead on youtube told you to? I carried my M9 in one in Afghanistan for a year. Had to keep the dust blown out, but it was an outstanding holster.

Maybe go troll somewhere else. You obviously have no interest in OC as a practice, so quit pestering those of us that do.

And your argument that anything can be made to break doesn't count here. As I've stated, I own the latest version, and everything I've described about it is true. I don't see anyone even trying to deny it. Instead I'm called names and such, and told it's a great holster. I don't hate them for the sake of hating them. I've provided valid points why I will never use one and would recommend that others don't as well.

I do have a question for you. Why did you have to keep the dust blown out? Oh wait, I believe I already cover that. Your use of it in Afghanistan in real life scenerios is what I've been talking about. Glad to see you made it out alive.

Your a troll, go away. You've successfully hijacked a thread.

p.s. I own neither a Serpa nor a Glock, can't stand either.

And he has sworn that he will not buy a Glock until they come in pink, THEN he'd buy one.

The anti-serpa people kinda remind me of the "old farts" who hate the glock cause it's a "plastic gun" and want everyone to carry 1911s.

ROFL!!! EMN.....you have described this old fart perfectly in your statement:) I had to laugh!
But.......I never say anything bad about Glocks 'cause I don't believe in telling people what they should shoot. I am a die hard 1911 fan and realize their shortcomings as well.

My other question is: Why is everyone arguing with a persistent nut job out of MN about Serpas, in a WA thread about Glocks?? This is getting ridiculous.

So the OP mentions he just bought a Serpa, and responding to that makes me a troll. I thought that's what discussion forums were for, to discuss things. Had I brought up the Serpa discussion, then yes, that would be a hijacking. But I was responding to the OP.

Regardless, I've said as much as I can on the topic. Anything more is just beating a dead horse. Speaking of horses, you can lead them to water, but you can't force them to drink it.

I don't worry about holsters for Glocks, as I figure the Glock will just blow up anyway!:banana::banana:

Why are you excited to OC?

Why wouldn't one be excited about standing up and exercising a right?

I look forward to OC everyday, it starts many questions, educates people on guns, helps bring back a lost gun culture, acts as a deterrent, let's the "authorities" know they aren't the only ones with guns, I could go on.
