Yes after that advice I nailed 2 zombies unbeknownst to me! THANK YOU!! Also I NAILED 2 black helicopters, no less than 1 and 1/2 flying saucers, that had area 51 stamped on it with a notice that said if found call....no number, that I find very suspicious!!! I have since seen strange helicopters with 2 rotors on top, and they were GREEN!!!!!!!! And a man in a VERY dark blue suit,,,,could have been black, can't be sure because it was DARK!!!

This morning I noticed that my flying saucer, and black helicopter wreckage had been STOLEN, so sadly I have no proof. BUT I swear it was real!

Now what did I do? I quit 'assuming' that the OP was telling the whole story a long time ago. Every time, it seemed to change, with new 'details' emerging regularly....kind of like nailing jello to a tree, it just won't stick.

What you did instead, was attempt to paint a picture of events as they weren't told. The best is to not assume what hasn't been said. You don't need to inject something you think wasn't said, just to suit your desired response.
Nothing interesting happening in Nevada, you need to troll here?

Where someone is from has no relevance to conversation. If you do not desire to read the posts of the OP or me, there is no requirement for you to view the thread at all.

You assume that there would have been multiple attackers had he intervened. And I have a hard time believing he would have started shooting from 75 feet away had it came to that and I know a lot of people do not have experience with it but most people do not want to be shot and in a lot of instances just pulling the firearm if it seems to be at that point will stop the issue. My point stands, if you don't feel a gun is adequate don't carry it. I just can't imagine a situation where I am armed with anything I chose to carry and decide not to intervene based on which gun I chose to carry. The gun I am carrying will never be the deciding factor, if I am carrying it I know how to use it.

It all comes down to confidence, I bet there are people on here that if they felt the situation warranted intervention would have intervened even if they were unarmed.

i dont think it has to do with confidence..

picture this 2 guys, ur unsure of what they may have in there car.. they may be armed they may not. but all you have is 6+1 no laser no night sights.. whould u really step in.. IDk about u but i have a family to go back home to "hints i work 16 because i have to not cause i want to". at the end of the day i need to make it home to my wife.
people say well you could at lease have pulled out ur gun.. now what will that do , say i do and they turn there anger trds me and try to run me over. better yet they try to run me over and shoot me at the same time. idk theres a tons of things that could of went worng. this is how i took care of the problem i was faced with.

I'm really afraid of those weird looking guys in business suits with a penchant for hanging off the ceiling that I can't remember seeing unless I'm looking right at them.....

Oh yes, I see all these marks on my arms to remind me that I saw.... what? What was it I'm supposed to remember seeing?

Is there a Doctor in the house?

We've all moved on. This thread has officially been hijacked, and is no longer about someone asking for opinions and then ******* about them when they get them.

Its all about zombies and 'The Silence', now.

We can just agree to disagree bud, I am not saying you should or should not step in, I was not there. I am saying your weapon should not have been the deciding factor. I have a family, 2 kids and am 31, and they need me to. having said that.. If I felt it needed intervention I would have in a heartbeat. Period. Everyones made different and everyone has a different moral compass and some people could stand by while bad men did evil and some men could not and can try to "justify" their lack of intervention. At the end of the day its all about what helps you sleep at night, and not intervening if I felt it needed it would not sit with me and I dont know that I would be able to look my family in the eyes after. If you can there is nothing wrong with that, do what works for you bud. But carry something you are confident with in all situations!

When you add that section in bold, you judged him by your moral compass. Judge yourself by yours, don't judge others by yours.

Oh, for crying out loud! The OP asked what would we do! We did, given the amount of information that was provided.

We told him, period. The rest is just whining and BS.

Some will *** **********, others will dash in, an probably end up arrested. Most are somewhere in between.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Once again, what you did was to denigrate his choice. You could have simply told the OP what you would do, and you went well beyond that.

And, if you don't like reading posts about the topic, there is no requirement for you to actually even click on the thread.

The OP asked what he should have done. He was given opinions. There wasn't much "judging" of him. There was more "judging" of the respondents.

my questions is

1) should i have tried to stop them from putting her back in the car.
A) i did not have my xdm with me only my lpc 6+1. what if they pulled a gun
2) should i have pulled my gun in defence of the lady who was being hurt and beat on,.
3) should i have pull my car behind them to block them in intill the police showed up. "because i leave by the airport response time is great"

I think he should get more professional training. Carry a more appropriate weapon (a bug is only a bug when it is carried with a primary weapon).

Don't try to be a hero. But make a decision based upon your own abilities.

On the streets of Detroit, we are not warriors.

As I said, whining & BS. We've moved on to zombies, now. Do try to keep up.

That, and this is one of the most amusing threads I've seen.

I am not sure.

I know that a warrior is aware of the consequence of the confrontation. That he is prepared for the confrontation. And that he is willing to sacrifice his life in the confrontation.

Is the cause on the streets worthy of this? For me or mine... yes. For you? Yes. For others? Yes. But that's me.

And no, I'm not some Billy Bad Arse.

I never have been, am not now, and it is highly unlikely that I ever will be... a warrior. Nor do I believe that carrying a gun automatically bestows upon me some kind of special "warrior status".... But I'd like to make a comment concerning warriors.....

For someone to qualify as a warrior he must know which one is the victim and which one is the attacker before wading into the fight to stand on one side and fight against the other because...... If the supposed warrior makes a mistake and fights alongside the attacker and helps the attacker victimize the victim then the warrior is NOT a warrior or a hero but is...............

a common criminal just like the criminal he is now helping attack the victim.

Truth! Too many assume the weapon makes the man, when in reality, the man makes the weapon.

But, without a warrior mindset (and good judgement), a man with a gun is just a MWAG.
