OCd at Walmart on Parham Rd near Regency and Kroger nearby on Eastgate Dr. Also at the Hearing Aid store on Patterson Ave.

The crab cakes from Kroger are the real thing - try one, predict you will go back.

Best place in Virginia for breakfast

Rise & Shine restaurant IS the best place to have breakfast in the entire state. You will get your food exactly as ordered and in a timely fashion. They also have a separate smoking room.

I would likely eat there more often if the were open on the weekends. There primary business is fencing, used to be open on Saturdays as well. Will be headed that way shortly - they open at 6:00am. Very OC friendly.

Rotarians were at Rise & Shine in force also group of about 18 lovely young ladies.

No stampeding for the doors - just a normal quiet OC experience.

Stopped at Food Lion in Meadowbrook S.C. to renew my supply of moo juice.

Then home to watch 2 Jason Bourne movies.

It's Thursday morning. Can you guess what I did?

Bonus points for where. Hint - it was a twofer.

Thursday and Friday at BK and Hardee's on Midlothian near VSP Hdqrs. Quiet, but fulfilling start to end of my OC week.

Started my OC excursion with a whimper (cold) and a raft of good wishes at Shoney's, 8415 W Broad St, Richmond, VA

It pays to be a regular, especially when you tip well. Did make a few people nervous, but all survived w/o injury.

Finished up the day at DoubleTap's mother's home where I reconnected with an old friend whom I hadn't seen in several years. Her BF travels in the same direction.

Sunday morning may be cinnamon biscuits followed by biscuits-n-gravy at the same Shoney's.

You know I OCd at Shoney's.

I had almost as much fun today with a few people refusing direct eye contact.

Guess they did not want to turn into a pillar of salt. Not a Lott of that going on these days.

Went to Burger King on Midlothian near Providence Rd. - first inside customer of the day. Before I left a gentleman spied my purdy OCd 1911 and gave me a thumbs up.

Then to Hardee's just a few doors down the street where biscuits-n-gravy reign supreme and my 1911 is well known by the company it keeps...:D

Spreading the good cheer.

Had two breakfasts: Burger King on Parham near Staples Mill and at Hardee's on W. Broad St close to Agee's bicycle establishment.

OC lunch at KFC on Patterson Avenue + stopped in The Hearing Aid Store across the street.

you didn't feel like using the Hardee's across the street, corner Parham & Landmark? That's the one I always used when looking for somewhere to eat in Richmond with an 18 wheeler

Or did you need the drive time to let the burger settle?

Alas I tried, it was my first choice, but they didn't have any Welch's grape jam for my sausage biscuit - a sacrilege.

Wed (2/7) and Thurs (2/8) did a repeat of Tuesday morning OC breakfast.

This morning (2/9) I tried a new wrinkle - strawberry jam on my sausage biscuit. The lady behind the counter caught the change immediately. Also said they have frequent conversations about the nice man that carries the gun.

From there to Hardee's where several people did a double take, paused, and went back to eating. We are winning when peoples' digestive systems are not totally disrupted.

This evening I met DoubleTap at O'Charley's on Gaskins Rd for a celebration - Feb 9[SUP]th[/SUP] is her birthday. She is a very special lady - pleasant time and good food helped set the tone for the evening.

DoubleTap and I finished up the day at Captain D's on Jeff Davis. She really liked the salmon cakes.

The cook came out to say hello - we enjoy a mutual respect.

Tomorrow I will start with breakfast at Shoney's on Broad Street at Skipwith.

Channel 12 did a segment on Valentine's Day and going to the range to release "aggression."

Neither my gun(s) nor I are aggressive. We are defensive and will remain that way..

You mean you were wanting to smear grape jelly on a sausage biscuit? That is the true sacrilege! Jelly on sausage-- desecration and mockery!! Heresy incarnate. Let it never be done!

You put what you want on your ground up hog and I'll lubricate mine my way...:p

I find that the flavors compliment each other - doubles the pleasure, doubles the fun.

Jokes aside, if you'd seen Grapeshot 12 months ago you'd be glad he's eating anything, even if it does seem a strange combination

You do that and I shall continue to call up on the powers that be and put forth the declarations known to all-- true sacrilege! -- desecration and mockery!! Heresy incarnate. Let it never be done!

Hopefully, some day you may see the light and be saved from the darkness of ruination of hog! In an attempt to bring you to realization and understanding, I shall continue to entreat you to begin to see the light of the faint dawn of truth of the flavor of hog ground into sausage.

When you achieve the true vision of the hog, you too shall exclaim the truth of the matter-- Let It Never Be Done!
