Also: "I support constitutional carry, not open carry."

Funny. Here in tourist-heavy New Hampshire, foreign tourists from anti-gun locations like Quebec and Massachusetts would be disappointed if they didn't see any bearded hillbillies carrying pistols. (Waves hand!)

I find it extremely interesting...there is only one other gun blog which makes this commentary about the FL Representative, the other is
the American Gun Alliance >> https://americangunalliance.com/202...-in-florida-would-spook-the-foreign-tourists/

yet neither article state when the Representative allegedly, date, time ad nauseam stated his opinion regarding OC except...

"Florida State Rep. David Smith meeting with Florida Gun Rights"

further seeking the above statement on al gore's www fails to provide any type of insight when and where and context.

critical thinking skills have kicked in raising the viability of the Smith's statement as TRUE...

His constituency is the businessman business person. He believes in parking meters. To him, taking the oath office is a tradition, meaning pomp and stance or just ceremonial. He believes the oath of office does not impose a duty on himself to honor that oath he took.

I bet he believes government is God god.

Open carry in Florida, at least in my area of SW Florida is basically a non-event and has been for many years now.

I dress normally and ride on the motorcycle every day, open carrying. If there was going to be a public panic, I'm sure those people on their cell phones that are tied up in seasonal tourist traffic would be calling me in every day to the local law.

The possible "scaring" of visiting tourists is just a lame excuse for those that can't come up with anything significant for their argument.

I live in a very small (pop under a thousand) town in Montana that most call a "tourist/visitor attraction. We get people from all over the world visiting us. I open carry a well holstered 1911 at all times and The only reaction is people taking my picture. I was cutting the grass in the front yard a few years ago and noticed about a dozen japanese tourists popping pics of me from across the street. I also wear my pistol when I sit on the Town Council with ZERO complaints from the public. This is and always has been a non-issue regardless of those who instigate fear and the lies they repeat. Florida will persevere
