el paso shooting (talking about facebook/media coverage)

so one thing i find of note here- i was on instagram and facebook for about 2 hours before i saw news break of the shooting. and it wasn't news- it was a post inside one of my Facebook groups from someone who asked for prayers for her town because one of the local little league teams was fundraising at walmart and were shot.

My facebook wall has no posts about it. Google search only shows a couple pages worth of search results- if i go to page 5, you'll start to find irrelevant posts. And nothing came across my instagram feed either.

complete media blackout EXCEPT FOR the major news outlets. i haven't checked twitter about it, but there are no ordinary citizen posts on facebook or instagram about it. It's like it's being censored.

Negative. Social media is bringing to light things that would otherwise never be seen. I don't watch mainstream media- i find out more info through the use of social media.

Social media is an open source for different view points otherwise censored by big money networks. You are very wrong on this. You will NEVER see 100% of the facts and evidence on mainstream media...you will, however, ALWAYS see 99.9999999% of the facts on social media.

The only thing the two videos he replied with proves is that there were tactical units in the parking lot outside the mall. Not inside walmart, wearing black shirts and shooting. Police never fired a round.

The Army soldier wasn't in Walmart. He was in the Cielo Vista mall next door, where no shots were fired and no one was injured.

KB, to reiterate just a bit, Hammer6 had wondered aloud about locals, particularly since there is a large military establishment & presence in the community, not responding.

My example was of an off duty soldier who actively got involved in the chaotic event as they were unfolding as the LE, Border Patrol, etc., was racing through said mall with their automatic firearms drawn and at the ready searching for the shooter ~ who it was LATER discerned was in fact next door!

I personally believe this private, a person of colour with firearm drawn, was in far more danger from the adrenaline stoked responding automatic armed LEs then the community’s citizens facing the armed perpetrator in and around the Walmart area!

Lordy that's a 180 on social media. I didn't hear anything about assault weapons so maybe he will steer away from that and maybe that's the idea, but deal time who knows what legis. will look like. Problem is you can't protect 2nd by diminishing other amendments further. When BOR is on the table for political negotiation the losses are always bad.

Wasn't me that wondered aloud. There was no response because I don't think this happened the way they are telling us. The suspect in custody doesn't look like the photo of the suspect's social profiles. AT ALL. Multiple people stated seeing 3-4 shooters, wearing masks. Police didn't fire a shot. Where did they arrest the guy? Where's the video of him being escorted out of walmart? There isn't one. He was arrested in a traffic stop, wearing khaki slacks, not the cargo pants shown in the surveillance video. Also of note, the markings on the ground outside the entrance shown in the video do not match the Google earth satellite view of the walmart. Where did they get this surveillance video from? How did he shoot people for 20 minutes, then end up getting arrested at a traffic stop off the property?

whole thing is fishy and KB i don't care if you call me a false flagger but none of this stuff adds up. PERIOD.

Which is EXACTLY why i say this event didn't go down as we are being told. I just saw him AGAIN today on the news, giving an interview, crying, saying he was carrying kids to safety. lies and more lies.

this whole thing stinks- such a tragedy that people lost their lives but the target wasn't those 20 people, it was the fundamental rights of 400+ million americans
