I'll be coming to Reno this weekend for a little "boy's night out" to celebrate with a buddy on his way out to Afghanistan for 18 months. We will be staying at one of the fancy casino/hotels downtown and plan to walk around to some of the other local attractions. From what I've read on this forum, it seems NV has state preemption and recognizes our right to self defense, but I have a couple specific questions:
I look forward to my short reprieve from the "Mag Size Doesn't Matter Because You Can't Carry It Loaded" State.
- Any statutes/ordinances regulating carrying in casinos?
- Any statutes/ordinances regulating being armed while being served alcohol? (Before I get berated... I treat being armed like being behind the wheel of a car. If I'm armed I stay sober, etc.)
- Anybody know if the casinos will object to their patrons being armed?
- When carrying in my car can I carry on my belt holster (which is somewhat concealed by my center console) or should I keep the gun (in the holster) on the dash to make sure there's no argument?
I look forward to my short reprieve from the "Mag Size Doesn't Matter Because You Can't Carry It Loaded" State.
