Former PO-LEECE and libertarian believer in Liberty. Back in the day, I worked with good people who thought long and hard before removing a good person's freedom and we frequently nullified bad law by refusing to enforce it (i.e. UCW and marijuana possession.) I refused to destroy a good person's life for a victimless crime or for exercising their constitutional right unless they were a crim bad guy. Obviously, I'd never make it on the streets today. LEO discretion no longer exists amongst most officers. It's all about getting the activity.
