I don't think I can recall the last time the forum had a get-together, and I've never attended one in VA, but I'm retired now and would be interested in this, especially if others showed an interest.     Same here, open carry in and around south-central PA for almost 2 decades (I was born, raised and spent the 1st 48 years in Maryland). LOTS of encounters including law enforcement, and every single one has been very positive, including law enforcement. Stay safe and carry on!

    Reading your post, I'm also wondering whether training numbers have progressively changed as well. I'm not certain about this but I thought a person could find an NRA course and attend it without necessarily having to be an NRA member. Either way, a notable change would be interesting.
