pulled over by a policeman

Fallschirmjäger means Paratrooper.
Jäger is hunter, and Fallschirm is parachute. Schirm is mesh or screen like a light cloth. Fall is fall like tumble.
I'm sure he didn't mean I'm literally a parachute, but yes, I am a Paratrooper (like the Marines, we're never 'former' ).

There are so many things that we just come to accept because we keep hearing it; "hide in the classroom instead of trying to escape then there's a gunman" or "Just hand your _____ over to the nice policeman and let him do his job" or "The officer has a right to _______". Rarely are those things that are in your best interests and not the interests of those who think they are your betters.

I hope the officer is charged and prosecuted, but probably will not be. He should get the maximum sentence for abusing his privileges. He could have easily handed the citation through the window, and his fingers(not arm) were only in the window because he was breaking the window. What a jack ass!

You do not have to roll your window all the way down .... she should have left the vehicle BUT his hand on the window would have prevented that...

Dumb stop by the cop on this day ...

Cop asks to to get out, fine ... roll the windows up, lock the door on the way out.

Easy small claims case at the minimum..for window repair.

Sometimes, most times they were from accidents. More misdirection? What has that have to do with my post that you quoted? This is one of the biggest problems with you. You get yourself in hot water with ignorant or insulting posts and then you try to divert attention from them.

Very very dishonest! Is that the type of police officer you are?

No just curious since I asked several times and you never answered.

So you conducted a traffic stop on fellow police officers? Blue lights and all? I'm just trying to learn from you that's all.

Misdirection from what? At this point the last few posts are just guys bashing me.

NO I used Christmas tree lights.

It had nothing to do with the post you quoted, it was a direct attempt to dodge the mess you again got yourself in. You are a very dishonest poster. You have earned the lack of respect you get. And YOU have done nothing but bash members since you came here. AND now you are hypocritically crying like a little girl.

The more you post with lack of respect to the members of this board the less respect you will get. The more you whimper and cry, the more fun will be made of you. They are not bashing you, they are making fun of you!

They just pulled over to the side of the road when you activated your lights? Did you then call off on the traffic stop with dispatch? "12 to control put me out with 14 on a traffic stop. 12 what's the plate? Control its unit 14 I'm stopping"?

Listen I already answered your question. NOW it is time to pay the piper to your dishonest posting. BTW how is the weather on the west coast? Are you not actually a CA resident, and not actually from Mass?

BTW do you even know what the 10 series codes are? Why would I call a prowler alert for a traffic stop?

YOU ARE BUSTED AGAIN!

Lol... ww sometimes you try SK hard it back fires....

First.... different departments use different codes

Second..... 12 and 14 would be the unit numbers (car numbers). Our department happens to do it backwards from military com's. Instead you this is me, we do me this you. So it would be 12 to control (dispatch). They would respond 12. You would then speak.... so by saying I'll be out with 14 it means you'd be out with unit 14.

I have a feeling you were on the job before car radios.

I wish I was in California right now.

And now who's evading a question? You claimed you conducted traffic stops on fellow police officers. Full blown formal traffic stop. Lights. Ask for registration and license. Check I'd and write citation. I'm just trying to figure out how. No more no less.

I answered your question, but the fact remains you are trying to change direction of a conversation when you are called out on stupidity. It is a disgusting habit of yours, and one of the reasons that members give you so much grief.

You evidently made a dumb assumption we used a code other than the 10 series codes, and again you were wrong. Besides the fact those were not my car numbers or badge number. So again you get caught with glaring ignorance even when you are trying to misdirect. Why not for a change try honesty, instead of misdirection.

And I thought I would give you a taste of your own medicine~~such as "do you still beat your wife?"

Umm.. I kinda read those as unit/car/officer numbers too instead of being 10-code numbers.

As an aside, everyone's aware that 10-codes are no longer recommended since different jurisdictions use different codes and it can lead to confusion.

Nailed it. They went away with them around here a few years back for that exact reason. A lot of us still use them anyways because its easier and force of habit. But its supposed to be plain speak.

YOU should still know them and you don't. AND you incorrectly assumed I did not use them. As far as confusion, each dept having their own codes, that is not confusing? NOW that is funny, and IMO is BS.

The thing that keeps ringing over and over again, you do not know jack about being a cop.

Is handgunlaw.us a valid cite for you?

I found nothing wrong with the link to handgunlaw .... why list 20 cites if one source can provide the same?

Any cite can be a good one if it lists facts that are clear and cites to statues seemed fine with the handgunlaw ... nothing is perfect & people are free to examine the site for flaws or error.

Handgun law is usually pretty good. It even had the disclaimer that it couldn't find that exact statute for the show upon demand thing.
