don't understand what your statement means to my post. but to let you know you are wrong. the constitution also applies to the states and to individuals. you just have to separate the rights of the individuals. there are cases where individuals have been charged and i believe found guilty of violating others constitutional rights
When it comes to private property rights the property owner's right to control his property means he can make not exercising a right a condition of being allowed onto/into his property.

The simple example is a "no guns" rule... which means the property owner is saying that in order to have permission to be on/in his property people must not exercise the right to bear arms. And it means that those who decide to accept his permission that comes with the "open to the public" invitation voluntarily agree to abide by that rule.

It also means that those who think the 2nd Amendment means the private property owner (an individual) cannot restrict their right to carry a gun and go onto/into a property that has a no guns rule while carrying a gun anyway will find themselves booted right on out of that property...if the owner/his representative catches them anyway. They may even be arrested for trespass if they don't leave when told to.

Which means... while the 2nd Amendment binds the government it does not bind the private individual.

If the 2nd Amendment was binding on an individual then no property owner would be able to have a "no guns" rule and they certainly wouldn't be able to throw anyone out who carried a gun onto/into their property.

However.... since this thread is about listing open carry experiences and discussing private property rights is a bit off topic may I suggest starting a separate discussion if you wish to pursue this further.

On topic... I didn't go anywhere today... in fact I didn't even get out of my robe all day. Which means while I did CC all day I didn't OC at all.

Tuesday I open carried at Fire House Music while selling them some used effects pedals I don't use any more.

Then I headed over the hiway to Hobby Lobby and had a great time joking with cashier(my cousin), and her boss in the check out line.

Nothing said at either place about my XDm.

Yesterday I was working on the end of my driveway when a guy stopped to say thanks for carrying!

All in all a couple of great days in Fruitport

on the way back we open carried at the sam's club in madison heights. no issues there either. on the way out, the receipt checker said "you guys are hooked up with chickens... AND glocks." we were carrying 2 rotisserie chickens (but no glocks).

ill be doing that shortly.

went to napa auto yesterday for a last minute emergency repair to the jeep so i could make it to the rally on time, apparently a little piece of plastic map sensor is $55 these days!

carried at the rally yesterday, pistol and my maverick 88, talked my fiance into carrying her new 10/22

and my supervisor at work showed up with his ruger and an AR(big black guy in a black hoodie) he is a real nice guy, very pro gun.

id post a pic of us, but ocdo does not allow lgoc pics or direct discussion.

ran into many old faces, some i hadnt seen in mere hours, some i hadnt seen in years, put faces to usernames on here and met even more new people.

also carried uoc at the gun show today, no issues, also went to some other small shops around town.

Went to a friends today to get my wife's brakes looked at. We had to go to Nappa Auto Parts in Monroe for brake pads and a rotor for her brakes. We both carried there, not a glance or word mentioned as it should be. Afterwards, went to Food Town in Monroe to get a few things, again no looks or comments except from the cashier who kept smiling at me. Then went a few doors down to get some take out Chinese food for dinner. In the restaurant the cook behind the counter looked at me wide eyed, then smiled and told me way to go, and then asked what I wanted to order. So a good day all around.

I (open carrying as usual) and Yooperlady decided to go to Big Boy in Bridgeport for lunch today. The hostess took us to a booth and as we were sitting down she looked at me and said:

"Thank you for carrying."

We sat down and I saw the hostess patting her hip while talking to a waitress off to the side. Everyone was all smiles.

We ate... we tipped... we paid.... we left... and folks, including a some customers, were still smiling.

Then off to Lamplighter flowers because Yooperlady deserves to have roses in her kitchen every day.

Like others have said there have been several OC dinners at the OCB here in battle creek, I've OC'd there plenty of times aside from formal events and there has not been a single issue. It does help that the manager at the OCB here is very pro gun

Well an interesting day with OC. The wife and I went to Monroe and stopped at Meijer, Radio Shack, and Nappa Auto Parts, no issues at all. Stopped at Wal-Mart and had an interesting encounter. Now to put things in perspective, my wife works at this Wal-Mart. We did our shopping without incident, but after we checked out we stopped to talk to a couple of my wife's coworkers. Two of them had no problem, but the third, upon seeing my gun, got wide eyed and stepped back from me. She asked why I was carrying a gun and I replied because I refuse to be a victim. She then asked about the legality of carrying a gun and I explained the legalities of open carry of a firearm. Now she was in no way anti-gun, just surprised to see someone carrying one and a bit apprehensive about being too close to one. We talked more about how a gun was nothing more than a tool, just as a hammer (we also discussed that about 7 years ago at their old location, someone grabbed a hammer from hardware and assaulted people) but they still sell hammers and people are not afraid of them. Her two coworkers seemed amused by all this. After it was all said and done, she came close and asked if she could touch my gun. Maybe she will look into things more and overcome here fear of them. I think she was also surprised to hear that my wife is waiting for her CPL, has her own gun, and carries when she can lol.
