Lunch at Quiznos in Birch Run and coffee from Starbucks next door then dinner at McDonalds on Bay and Tittabawasee in Saginaw. No problems except a few snide remarks from other customers at Mcds to which I replied by smiling and saying have a good night.

Has anyone ever OC'ed at Buffalo Wild Wings? I plan on going there to watch the Red Wings Game tonight. I have a CPL but I don't know if the main source of business is the sale of consuming alcohol by the bottle. Please let me know. Thanks guys

I plan on going to the BWW in either Troy or Rochester.

there were quite a few news stories in the last couple months about BWW location posting no firearms signs, not sure if everyone is posted or not.

I would think that BWW is mainly a restaurant that sells alcohol, so carrying should be no issue, unless there is signage

I personally don't consider BWW to be a bar or tavern. They're a restaurant that has a bar area but mainly a restaurant.

Yesterday was out quite a bit. OC'd at Meijer, Walmart, Staples and McDonalds in Monroe. No issues. one elderly gentleman and his wife saw me at Staples. He noticed my gun, smiled and nodded. Later OC'd at the dinner in Woodhaven, and at the Meijer there, no issues.

Good response always. i always like to engage people that are negative to find out what their objection are, i may not even try to argue with them, depending on how set or how stupid their objection is. i just think it is always good to find out what the problem is, but i do like to educate the ignorant

I stopped in that McDonald's about 9:00 that night after OCing at a basketball game at Carrollton HS. No comments to me in McD as I was CC at that point.

Oakland Mall - Troy, MI

I was just about to head over to Olga's restaurant at the Oakland Mall (Troy, MI) and I thought I'd call to check on current OC policy. I called the mall Management Office and a young lady told me "you can't carry a gun in the mall". I asked her if that was posted on signs at the door and she repeated "you can't carry a gun at the mall!". The young lady seemed to be stressing out so I didn't push for her name. I told her "Thank you. I guess I can't shop at your mall any more". I probably shouldn't tell her that I never enter that mall without my (legally) concealed pistol anyways. Looks like it's delivery tonight!

If you ask, the answer is always 'no'...

Most recommend just going- the most they can do is ask you to leave. If you don't leave, THEN they can have you arrested for trespassing.

OC friendly/unfriendly location/experience chart?

Hey webmaster ... how about creating some sort of matrix or chart, maybe by county/city and business, where people can add and search for OC friendly/unfriendly places? There's tons of locations in the threads but searching them is a little time consuming, though I do enjoy reading the experiences. Seeing them all in a chart by location might encourage people to go to the friendly ones while they're out and about. Just a thought.
